Dear Friends of Hibernation Station,
We have some wonderful news to share! Despite the government shutdown, Yellowstone National Park remains open and accessible—which means your fall adventure is still on. 🍂
What You Need to Know
According to the U.S. National Park Service:
- Entrances and roads are open – Visitors can still drive in and enjoy Yellowstone’s breathtaking landscapes.
- Some services will be closed – Park Service visitor centers and public restrooms will not be available.
- Restrooms at Yellowstone National Park Lodges will remain open for your convenience.
- Emergency services are available, though visitors are encouraged to explore with extra caution.
Why Visit Now?
Autumn is one of the most spectacular times to visit Yellowstone. The air is crisp, the foliage is glowing with seasonal color, and wildlife sightings are at their peak. With lighter crowds this time of year, you’ll have the rare chance to experience the park’s beauty in a more peaceful setting.
